MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Jersey Aero Club is a privilege. Continued benefits of this membership privilege depend on the active cooperation of all members to help administer the Club and to keep the Club equipment in good condition. The Club’s officers and trustees have a big job to do and every member should try to help.
To join the club you need to submit an application and attend a meeting to have your application read for membership review (click here for meeting calendar). To submit an application, you must have another club member to act as your sponsor. If you already know somebody in the club, great. If not, start attending meetings and other club functions and meeting some of our members. Prospective members are always welcome at any meeting. In fact, even if you already do know some members it is highly recommended that you still attend some meetings before you join to get an idea of how the club works.
As far as cost, there is a $1400 initiation fee payable with submission of your application to the Membership Committee. If there is a waiting list in progress the initiation fee is still required to secure your placement on our waiting list. Dues are currently $90 per month, which covers our fixed expenses, such as insurance and building rent. (Dues & Initiation Fees subject to board adjustment - contact us for latest rates)
Meetings are held the First and Third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm. For more information please email our membership committee at join@jerseyaeroclub.org.
