ABOUT US
THE PREMIER FLYING CLUB IN THE U.S. LOCATED IN THE NORTHEAST at N12 AIRPORT in Lakewood, NJ.
Founded in 1938, and centrally located at N12 Airport in Lakewood NJ, the Jersey Aero Club (JAC) is NJ's oldest active flying club and the 3rd oldest active flying club in the United States. The JAC is an organization of aviators and aviation enthusiasts with a wide range of experience who have created a social organization to support, promote, and advance general aviation through training, networking, advocacy, educational programs and share in the ownership of 6 airplanes
I have been a member for 20 years and the JAC is a well run club that provides me access to several great aircraft at a very good price. It's a perfect opportunity for a private pilot looking to do some general aviation flying in the area.

.. JAC has become a source of pride for me. I joined the club in 2019 as a student pilot. I earned my PPL last year and spent much of this year training in our Mooney. This month I’ve closed in on the hours needed to earn my commercial certificate. Flying has become such a big part of my life, but more importantly, the JAC community has become a part of my family.

We had surprisingly smooth air flying N41JA through the NYC SFRA and further north up the Hudson past Bear Mountain and on to West Point. What a privilege it is to have opportunities like this as a member of JAC.
