Remembering Jim Neville

It is with a heavy heart that I acknowledge the passing of past member, past Vice President, and good friend of many, Jim Neville. Jim joined the club in October 2009. He enjoyed flying the Warrior, the Archer, the Cherokee Six, and the Skyhawk up until late 2020. He went on non-flying status in April of 2021 and resigned in May of 2021. During Jim's time as a member, he served on the Finance Committee for at least a year and then as Vice President during 2018 and 2019. He attended meetings regularly, often with his wife, Kate.

Everyone who met Jim saw a man with an infectious smile and a friendly demeanor. He was always willing to help the club and its members in whatever way he could. We are all better for having known him and enjoyed his friendship.

Jim's passing inspired us to set up an area on our club wiki to post memorials for members who have passed on. We don't want to see Jim forgotten nor the many other prominent members who left us too soon.
